AC Rental Agreement

This Agreement is made between:
Rentifyr, hereafter “Company”
AND
The user/customer, hereafter “Client”

PART 1: WEBSITE TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website, Client agrees to be bound by:

  • These Terms & Conditions
  • Our Privacy Policy
  • All incorporated policies herein

2. Definitions

  • “Client”, “You” = Website user or renting customer
  • “Company”, “We” = Rentifyr
  • “Agreement” = These combined rental + website terms

3. Intellectual Property

All website content (logos, text, graphics) is owned by Company. Client may not:

  • Republish, sell, or sublicense material
  • Use content for commercial purposes
  • Remove copyright notices

4. User Conduct

Prohibited on website:
✓ Defamatory/unlawful comments
✓ Spam/promotional content
✓ Automated data scraping

5. Hyperlinking Policy

Approved links must:

  • Not be deceptive
  • Not imply Company endorsement
  • Contextually fit linking site

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies to:

  • Enhance user experience
  • Analyze website traffic
  • Remember preferences

7. Disclaimer

Company is not liable for:

  • Website downtime or errors
  • Third-party content
  • Client’s use of information

8. Refund Policy

  • Full refund if Company fails to deliver AC within 10 days
  • No refund if:
    • AC delivered but Client dislikes (unless technical fault)
    • Early termination before 31st October

Installation Delay Policy:

If the company fails to install the AC within 48 hours, the customer has two options:

  1. Continue with the company and wait for installation (completed within the next 8 days).
  2. Cancel the service and receive a 50% refund (After 8 days) of the token amount after the 48-hour period (as costs are incurred upon booking).

9. AC Condition

⚠️ Important:

  • All rental ACs are used/second-hand
  • Provided “as is” for cooling purposes only
  • Not comparable to new AC performance

PART 2: RENTAL TERMS

8. Booking Process

  1. Token Payment → Before installation (can replace your AC if you don’t like it)
  2. Balance Payment → Due after installation
  3. Confirmation → Sent via email/WhatsApp

10. Usage & Maintenance

  • Permitted: Residential cooling only
  • Prohibited:
    • Unauthorized repairs
    • Commercial use
    • Physical damage to units

11. Damage Policy

  • Free Technical Services:
    • Our company-appointed mechanic will provide free repairs for any technical/mechanical faults (e.g., gas refill, wiring issues, compressor faults).

Chargeable damages include:

  • Broken remote: ₹1,500
  • Unit damage: ₹5,000 + repairs
  • Theft: Full replacement cost

12. Early Termination

  • No refunds if terminated before 31st October
  • Requires 2 days written notice

13. Security Options

The client must provide one of the following:

  1. Refundable security deposit
    or
  2. Aadhaar Card copy (as collateral)

Note:

  • The company reserves the right to collect the agreed security amount on the spot.
  • This amount may be charged along with ID proof verification at the time of service.

PART 3: LEGAL PROVISIONS

14. Jurisdiction

All disputes subject to Haryana courts exclusively

15. Harassment Policy

  • Threats = Immediate termination + ₹25,000 penalty
  • Company may file FIR (IPC 503/506)

16. Limitation of Liability

Company not responsible for:

  • Force majeure events
  • Client’s negligent use
  • Third-party actions
  • Lack of communication from our mechanics

ACCEPTANCE
By making payment or using website, Client agrees to all terms.
